Tech Booking Rules & Information

Session Access in PlaytimeScheduler (PTS)

  • Sessions “open” for Regular Members 8 days before the session starts (to the hour). (5 days before for Drop-In members)

  • Add your name to join a session.

Booking Rules

Weekdays (Mon–Fri)

  • During Prime Time (9am–9pm):
➜ You may join ONE session only (social or bookable).

  • Minimum 4 players, maximum 8 on a court during Prime Time.

  • You may play additional sessions 5am–9am, and/or 9pm–11pm.

Weekends (Sat–Sun)

  • You may join one social session AND one bookable session during Prime Time.

  • Be considerate — if there's a waitlist for a social session you are on, but are booked on another court time, free your spot for others.

Bookable Courts

  • If you are first on the list, you must add a Note at the bottom stating who can join (e.g. Open to High Intermediate–Advanced players, max 6), or if the court is Private.

  • READ THE NOTES before joining any court.

  • Use the  Envelope icon beside names to message other members.

Special Circumstances

  • Team League (Tues & Thurs) players may play another Prime Time session, but only if it is 5am–3pm, or at 9pm.

  • Leave the 5pm slot for players not in Team League.

Waitlists

  • PTS will notify you automatically if you move off a waitlist.

  • Can’t attend? Remove your name at least 30 minutes before the session if possible.

Other Tech Rules

  • Do NOT share your Door Code.

  • Ensure doors close fully behind you.

  • Sign in on the attendance sheet.

  • Leave outdoor shoes on hallway mats.

  • Do not bring valuables – Soo Pickleball is not responsible.

  • Stay alert — call “BALL” if your ball rolls onto another court.

Play fair. Stay safe. Respect the rules. Enjoy your game!

Choosing the right Skill Level helps everyone enjoy fair, fun, and competitive games. We want everyone to find the best fit so all players get their best game possible.

New Rating Committee

Our newly formed Rating Committee is presently working on developing an evaluation system that will allow players the opportunity to demonstrate the skills necessary to move categories. The committee is also working on an education strategy to make players aware of skills they need to be proficient with BEFORE requesting an evaluation.

The skills for each level are listed below.

As this is a new committee, please allow until January 2026 before requesting evaluations.
